The goal of this MindPlusMe Application is to help children and teens focus their mental strength, and achieve a state of peace and calm through positive affirmation and imagery.

A MindPlusMe meditation consists of relaxation and guided imagery to help your child or teen calm anxiety, and imagine their own success - all accompanied by soft simple music. Each meditation addresses a specific topic, but all include positive affirmation and imagery.

Meditation is a mental activity, but has far-reaching physical benefits. According to studies, the benefits of meditation include stronger immunity, disease resistance, inflammation reduction, better digestion, increased memory, and emotional balance. These benefits increase with regular practice. Your child’s ability to meditate will increase with regular, consistent practice.

This app should be listened to while lying down in a quiet place, without interruptions; bedtime is ideal. Used repeatedly, over time your child will gain the ability to soothe their stress and anxiety independently. If your child falls asleep during the meditation, don’t stop the app; let it play until the end.

The goal of MindPlusMe is to empower children and teens by helping them discover the power they already have within. As they gain confidence, strength, and resilience they can face difficult circumstances, and modify their behavior to manage stress and anxiety effectively and achieve their life goals.
